Classic Pumpkin Pie

Although this recipe is very easy, it features the perfect combination of ingredients for a delicious pie. Its rich, smooth, and flavorful taste will keep you busy and content throughout the holiday season!

Estimated time: 15 minute prep, 40-50 minute bake


  • 2 cups of canned pumpkin
  • 1½  cups of evaporated milk
  • ½ cup of granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon of ground cloves
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pie shell (4 cup volume)


  • Whatever you like on top of a pumpkin pie (like whipped cream, cinnamon sugars, and toasted pecans)


  1. Preheat oven to 425oF
  2. Whisk together the ingredients
  3. Pour the mixture in to pie shell (don’t worry if it feels completely like liquid)
  4. Bake at 425oF for 15 minutes and then change the temperature to 350oF for 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out of the center clean (it’s supposed to be a little jiggly at this point)
  5. Let the pie cool for 2 hours
  6. Add on your favorite toppings
