Cool Way to Eat Asparagus

Hey guys! I’m Kevin and I am on Eats for this week. For today, we are making something that is actually a tasty recipe, however, I do offer some alternative ways to make this food so don’t @ me too hard. Alright Let’s go!

Ingredients. Basic.

Asparagus: one bundle

Bacon: number of strips = asparagus/2 (math)

Egg wash: one egg, beaten (or any egg wash substitute)

Puff pastry or pie crust or Pillsbury crescents: one can, it’s definitely enough.


This should be easy enough. First, you get asparagus, then you cut a strip of bacon in halves hotdog style and wrap it around the asparagus. Note that you should leave space between the bacon when wrapping to make room for the pastry. Then, you wrap the pastry around as well, weaving the bacon and also making its way around the asparagus. That’s actually all, and you end up with something like this:

Now that this is all done, coat it with egg wash and bake it in the oven at 400 for around 20 minutes or until the pastry is cooked. Be sure to check on them in the middle and flip if you can.

And that’s about it! Cool way to make a veggie dish even though it is slightly on the unhealthy side(however, the flavor does slap so I do recommend trying it out if you aren’t on a diet). Enjoy!
