3. London Symphony Orchestra
Founded by Adolf Borsdorf in 1904, the London Symphony Orchestra started out as a small orchestra. LSO performs over 120 concerts annually and is considered one of London’s oldest orchestras. They won Grammys in 1989, 1998, and 2007. 4. Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra
The Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in 1882 and based in Germany. Some awards they received include Grammy Award in 1999, many Classic Brit awards, and Fryderyk Awards. 5. Cleveland Orchestra
The Cleveland Orchestra was founded by Adella Prentiss Hughes in 1918 and is based in Ohio. With 100+ members, Cleveland Orchestra performs at Cleveland and performs each summer at Blossom Music Center. 6. Philadelphia Orchestra
With over 130 concerts each year, the Philadelphia Orchestra is also world-renowned. This orchestra was the first to perform on a TV broadcast and on a radio broadcast.
