As such, you won’t always be able to get the desired groceries whether it be lack of inventory or simply just not enough room in pick up and delivery schedules. Thus, this week we will introduce two unconventional places in which you can get those groceries – White Wolf Japanese Patisserie, Michelle’s Fish Market, and Panera Bread. Just like how auto companies like GM have shifted their factories to help produce medical equipment, these three businesses have shifted operations to allow customers to get access to the groceries they need.
White Wolf Japanese Patisserie
White Wolf Japanese Patisserie, located just 20 minutes away from Detroit by car, is an elegant store that boasts a wonderful selection of pastries that are, according to friends, a must try. However, during quarantine it is perhaps hard to get a taste of such wonderful delicacies. But, fret not. White Wold Japanese Patisserie now has its own online store! Not only can you snatch up some heavenly desserts, you can also buy your groceries there too. The store offers a wide variety of goods from chicken to pasta sauce. When you order online, there is an estimated prep time of 30 minutes. The store allows for grab-and-go and curbside pick up.

Michelles’s Fish Market
If you want to find a place with a variety of sea food, Michelle’s Fish Market is the ideal place for you. Located in the Rochester Village, this restaurant not only serves up high quality sea food, they also sell it raw too! Now on the Chef’s Market Menu, you can find a wide variety of groceries with different types of seafoods, meats, fresh produce, flour, pastas and other kitchen staples. There are even some supplies of toilet paper and paper towels. You can order all these goodies online and then select if you want to pick up the food or have it delivered. Delivery is ran through Doordash and Grubhub.

Panera Bread
Panera Bread now offers groceries. To be more exact, it what is usually on their menu and some additions. Now you can order complete meals whether it be soups and salads or something from their bakery. No need to worry about having to make breakfast anymore, when you can just order delicious bagels off of their website. As for traditional groceries, Panera Bread offers some fresh produce such as avocados, apples, berries, and tomatoes as well as a variety of dairy products. However, it must be noted that there is limited availability of the produce. For example, at the time of writing this article (4/16/2020), berries are out of stock. You can choose whether you prefer pickup or delivery for your groceries and or meals. Though, please check on the website to see whether your location is available for delivery.
