How to study when you are tired

by Teddy Bau

I am sure we all had the day where we are all tired, and can’t focus on studying no matter what we do. But yet, we got a test or quiz or both that we have the following day. Today, I will reveal the secret of how you study when you are tired, when you got an assessment the following day.

One way that we can study when we are tired is to keep moving around. Since, it can help the muscles expand. Through that, it also improves the ability to actively recall what you are learning. According to,How to avoid Sleepiness when study,”Research indicates that students of all ages — from elementary school to college — found that 10 minutes of outdoor walking significantly increased memory efficiency, problem recognition, and quantitative problem-solving activities.Aim to take a short break every 30 to 50 minutes for a stroll, a dance, or a few jumping jacks.”(Wondershare Edraw mind). It is quite clear that exercising helps boost your energy level when studying. I myself have exercised during my break for studying when I was tired, and I can confirm that it helps a lot in boosting your energy span. However, this is not just the only way that you can study when you are tired.

Another way you can study when you are tired is to drink a lot of water when you are dehydrated. Dehydration is another way that actually slows your brain. Once again, according to, How to avoid sleepiness when studying,”Studies have stated that mild to moderate dehydration levels can affect short-term memory, attention, mathematical capacity, alertness, and perception.” (Wondershare Edraw mind). Sometimes we forget that water is very important for our body. You can’t survive without water for 48 hours, but you can survive without food for that same amount of time.

In the end, it is really important to know how to study when you’re tired, and I hope that these two examples can help you study better when you’re tired.
