Boba to water ratio(for cooking) 1:8
½ cup water to 50 grams of black sugar (or brown sugar)
1 cup boba to 50 grams of black/brown sugar
Tea Ratio
1 cup of tea leaves(black tea is recommended but you can use any) to 6 cups of water
1 cup tea to 2tbsp brown sugar(recommended)

How to make Boba
Step 1- bring water (according to the 1:8 ratio) to a boil and put the boba in
Step 2- boil for 15-20 minutes or until soft (you can taste it)
Step 3- turn the heat off and let it sit for 10-15 minutes with the lid on
Step 4- put the boba in ice water immediately afterwards for about 5 minutes
Step 5- use water and dissolve the black or brown sugar (use the ratios or as sweet as you want it to be)
Step 6- bring it up to a boil and put your boba in(without ice water)
Step 7- reduce until its a thick syrup
How to Make the Tea
Step 1- use the recommended ratio to of tea leaves to water and bring it to a boil
Step 2- add brown sugar to the tea and boil it until the brown sugar has completely melted
How to Assemble
Step 1- add as much or as little boba and syrup as you want
Step 2- add the tea and milk with a 1:1 ratio
Step 3- add additional melted brown/black sugar if necessary
